Peer Review Procces
Al-Kitab: Journal of Educational Studies implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the academic quality, originality, and integrity of all published manuscripts. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
The peer review process consists of the following stages:

Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team conducts a preliminary review to assess the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with the author guidelines, and adherence to basic academic and ethical standards. Manuscripts are also screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. -
Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area. -
Double-Blind Review
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field of educational studies. Neither the authors nor the reviewers are informed of each other’s identities. -
Reviewer Recommendations
Based on their evaluation, reviewers provide constructive comments and recommend one of the following decisions:-
Accept

Minor Revision

Major Revision

Reject

Author Revision
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised version within the specified timeframe. -
Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection based on the reviewers’ reports and the quality of the revised manuscript. -
Final Editing and Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading before being published online.
The peer review process is conducted objectively, transparently, and ethically, in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
