Peer Review Proccess

Eduistiqomah in Psychology (EIPY) implements a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the quality, originality, academic integrity, and scientific contribution of all published manuscripts.

All submitted manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team to assess their suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with the Author Guidelines, originality, and basic academic and methodological standards. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s requirements may be returned to the authors or rejected before entering the peer review process.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in psychology and the subject area of the manuscript. During the review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • Originality and novelty of the research

  • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

  • Theoretical and scientific contribution

  • Appropriateness and rigor of the research methodology

  • Quality of data analysis and interpretation

  • Clarity and consistency of the presentation

  • Validity of the conclusions

  • Quality and relevance of references

  • Overall academic and practical contribution

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept

  • Accept with Minor Revisions

  • Revise and Resubmit (Major Revisions)

  • Reject

Authors are required to respond to reviewers’ comments and submit a revised manuscript when revisions are requested. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the designated editor, taking into consideration the reviewers’ recommendations, editorial policies, and the overall quality of the manuscript.

The peer review process is conducted objectively, fairly, and confidentially. Reviewers are expected to disclose any potential conflict of interest and to maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained during the review process.

The review process generally takes approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability, the complexity of the manuscript, and the number of revision rounds required.
