Plagiarism Screening
Eduistiqomah in Philosophy (EIP) is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are subjected to plagiarism and similarity screening using Turnitin prior to the peer-review process.
The journal applies a maximum similarity threshold of 20% as an initial screening criterion. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision and clarification before they can proceed to the review process. However, the similarity percentage is not, by itself, considered definitive evidence of plagiarism. The Editorial Board evaluates the Turnitin report carefully, taking into account the sources, context, nature, and distribution of the identified similarities.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts contain original scholarly work and that all ideas, arguments, quotations, interpretations, and materials derived from other sources are properly acknowledged and cited. Manuscripts containing substantial unattributed similarity, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of academic misconduct may be rejected in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics Statement.
