Eduistiqomah in Islamic Education Management (EIEM) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the editorial, peer-review, production, publication, and dissemination processes of accepted manuscripts.
The APC for each accepted article is:
IDR 150,000 (one hundred fifty thousand Indonesian Rupiah) per article.
The APC is charged only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review and editorial evaluation process and has been formally accepted for publication.
EIEM does not charge any submission fee.
Authors are not required to make any payment when submitting a manuscript for consideration. Submission, initial editorial screening, and peer-review are not subject to a separate submission charge.
Authors will receive payment instructions from the editorial office after their manuscript has been formally accepted.
Payment of the APC does not influence the editorial decision. Acceptance decisions are based on the manuscript's academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, and the outcome of the peer-review and editorial evaluation processes.
The APC contributes to the costs associated with:
Editorial management;
Peer-review administration;
Manuscript preparation and copyediting;
Layout and publication production;
Online publication and dissemination;
Digital archiving and preservation; and
Journal website and publishing infrastructure.
Authors who experience genuine financial difficulties may contact the editorial office to request consideration for an APC waiver or reduction.
Any waiver or reduction request will be considered separately from the editorial decision and will not influence the peer-review process.
APC payments are generally non-refundable once the publication production process has commenced.
If an article cannot be published due to an error attributable to the journal after payment has been received, the editorial team may review the circumstances and determine an appropriate resolution.
EIEM is committed to transparency regarding author fees. The journal does not charge hidden fees for manuscript submission or peer review.
Any applicable fees will be communicated clearly to authors before payment is requested.
