Retraction and Correction

Eduistiqomah in Law (EIL) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the published scholarly record. Corrections and retractions are made when necessary to address significant errors, inaccuracies, or violations of publication ethics.

Correction

A correction may be published when an article contains an error that affects the accuracy or clarity of the published work but does not invalidate the main findings or conclusions. Corrections may include errors in text, author information, affiliations, references, figures, tables, or other published information.

When a correction is necessary, the journal will publish a correction notice and clearly indicate the changes made to the original article. The original article will remain accessible, where appropriate, to preserve the integrity of the publication record.

Retraction

An article may be retracted when there is clear evidence that its findings or content are unreliable or when serious publication or research misconduct has occurred. Reasons for retraction may include plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, duplicate publication, serious ethical violations, major errors that invalidate the findings, or other forms of academic misconduct.

A retraction decision is made by the editorial team after careful consideration of the available evidence. Where appropriate, the authors will be given an opportunity to respond to the concerns before a final decision is made.

Retracted articles will remain available online where possible but will be clearly marked as "Retracted". A retraction notice will explain the reason for the retraction and will be linked to the original article.

Post-Publication Issues

Readers, authors, reviewers, or other parties who identify significant errors or potential ethical concerns in a published article may contact the editorial team. The journal will investigate credible concerns fairly and confidentially.

All corrections and retractions will be handled transparently and in accordance with the journal's publication ethics and commitment to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record.
