About the Journal
Eduistiqomah in Law (EIL) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the publication and dissemination of original and high-quality research in law, Islamic law, legal studies, and contemporary legal issues. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, legal scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and interdisciplinary scholars to share theoretical, empirical, comparative, normative, and interdisciplinary research that contributes to the advancement of legal knowledge and practice.
The journal covers a broad range of legal studies, including but not limited to Islamic law, constitutional law, civil law, criminal law, family law, administrative law, economic and business law, human rights law, environmental law, digital and cyber law, legal education, legal policy, law and society, socio-legal studies, comparative law, legal reform, governance, regulation, and other contemporary legal issues. EIL welcomes research that examines legal phenomena from diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives and encourages studies that address emerging legal challenges at local, national, regional, and international levels.
Eduistiqomah in Law welcomes manuscripts employing appropriate and rigorous research approaches, including doctrinal or normative legal research, qualitative research, quantitative research, socio-legal research, comparative legal research, empirical legal studies, and mixed-methods approaches. Manuscripts should demonstrate clear research questions, sound methodology, substantial engagement with relevant scholarly literature, rigorous analysis, and significant contributions to the development of legal scholarship and practice.
The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality, integrity, originality, and ethical scholarly publishing. All manuscripts submitted to EIL are subject to a rigorous peer-review process conducted by qualified reviewers with relevant expertise. Eduistiqomah in Law is published twice a year, in June and December, with each issue containing scholarly articles that have undergone the journal's peer-review and editorial processes.
