Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026)The editorial board of Eduistiqomah in Management is pleased to present its inaugural issue, Volume 1, Number 1, June 2026, marking an important milestone in promoting scholarly discourse and research development in the field of management, particularly in educational institutions and Islamic educational organizations. This first edition reflects the journal’s commitment to advancing management knowledge through high-quality research, contemporary perspectives, and academic collaboration. The issue brings together contributions from five higher education institutions in Indonesia: STAI Kh. Muhammad Ali Shodiq Tulungagung; Universitas Islam Negeri Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung; IAIFA Pare; Universitas Sunan Giri Surabaya; and Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Tebuireng Jombang. The participation of these institutions demonstrates the journal’s commitment to strengthening scholarly collaboration and expanding research networks in the field of educational management. This inaugural issue highlights contemporary developments and emerging challenges in educational management, particularly those associated with digital leadership, strategic management, human resource management, artificial intelligence, organizational innovation, organizational culture, and institutional performance. The published articles explore how educational institutions can strengthen organizational effectiveness and respond to rapid technological, organizational, and environmental changes. Collectively, the studies emphasize the importance of effective leadership, strategic planning, professional human resource development, technological innovation, and strong organizational culture in supporting sustainable institutional development. The issue features five scholarly articles that address important themes in contemporary educational management. The first article, “Digital Leadership and Organizational Performance in Islamic Educational Institutions,” by Muh Ibnu Sholeh from STAI Kh. Muhammad Ali Shodiq Tulungagung, examines the role of digital leadership in strengthening organizational performance within Islamic educational institutions. The second article, “Strategic Management and Competitive Advantage in Islamic Educational Institutions,” by Muh Habibulloh from Universitas Islam Negeri Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, discusses strategic management approaches for strengthening institutional competitiveness and supporting sustainable organizational development. The third article, “Human Resource Management and Teacher Performance in Educational Institutions,” by M. Munif from IAIFA Pare, focuses on human resource management and teacher performance, with attention to professional development, performance management, organizational support, and employee engagement. The fourth article, “Artificial Intelligence Adoption and Organizational Innovation in Educational Institutions,” by Sirojuddin Abror from Universitas Sunan Giri Surabaya, explores the adoption of artificial intelligence and its contribution to organizational innovation in educational institutions. The final article, “Organizational Culture and Institutional Performance in Islamic Educational Institutions,” by Nur 'azah from Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Tebuireng Jombang, examines the role of organizational culture in shaping institutional performance and supporting sustainable organizational development. Collectively, the articles presented in this issue contribute valuable insights into how educational institutions can strengthen their management capacity in response to contemporary challenges. The studies demonstrate that institutional development requires an integrated approach involving leadership, strategic management, human resources, technological innovation, and organizational culture. Digital leadership and artificial intelligence highlight the growing importance of technological transformation, while strategic management and human resource development emphasize the importance of organizational capacity and professional performance. At the same time, organizational culture provides an important foundation for strengthening shared values, collaboration, accountability, and institutional performance. Through this inaugural publication, Eduistiqomah in Management reaffirms its commitment to serving as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of management research, theoretical development, and innovative practices, particularly within educational institutions. The journal seeks to encourage scholarly dialogue among researchers, academics, educational leaders, and practitioners across diverse areas of management and education. The editorial team warmly invites academics, researchers, and education professionals to engage with the findings presented in this issue and to contribute to future editions of Eduistiqomah in Management, supporting the advancement of effective, innovative, and sustainable management practices in educational institutions.
