Open Access Policy

Eduistiqomah in Mathematics Education (EIME) is committed to providing immediate and unrestricted open access to all of its published scholarly articles.

1. Open Access Statement

EIME provides immediate open access to all published articles. All articles are freely available to readers immediately upon publication without subscription, registration, or access fees.

Readers can access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of published articles, subject to the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license.

2. Creative Commons License

All articles published by EIME are distributed under the:

Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This license allows users to share, copy, redistribute, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the published material for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the journal.

3. Author Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their published articles.

Authors grant EIME the right of first publication and the non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, preserve, and make the article publicly available as part of the journal's scholarly publishing activities.

4. Access to Published Articles

There are no subscription fees or paywalls for readers.

Published articles are freely accessible through the EIME journal website and may be shared through lawful academic and scholarly channels in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 license.

5. Author Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted to share and deposit their published articles in:

  • Institutional repositories;
  • Subject repositories;
  • Personal academic websites;
  • University websites;
  • Research profiles; and
  • Other lawful scholarly platforms.

Authors should provide appropriate bibliographic information and acknowledge EIME as the original publishing journal.

6. Reuse and Redistribution

Users may reuse, reproduce, distribute, or adapt published articles provided that proper attribution is given to the author(s) and EIME.

Attribution should include, where applicable:

  • Author name(s);
  • Article title;
  • Journal title;
  • Publication year;
  • Volume and issue;
  • DOI or persistent identifier; and
  • A link to the CC BY 4.0 license.

Any modifications to the original work should be clearly indicated.

7. Publication Fees and Open Access

EIME does not charge readers for access to published articles.

Authors are not charged for manuscript submission, editorial screening, manuscript processing, revision, or double-blind peer review.

A publication fee of IDR 150,000 per accepted article is charged only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

The publication fee does not restrict readers' access to the published article.

8. Long-Term Accessibility

EIME is committed to maintaining the accessibility and availability of its published scholarly content.

The journal seeks to preserve published articles and their bibliographic metadata through appropriate digital preservation and scholarly infrastructure to support long-term access and discoverability.

9. Commitment to Open Scholarly Communication

EIME believes that unrestricted access to scholarly research supports knowledge dissemination, academic collaboration, educational development, and the advancement of mathematics education research.

The journal therefore supports open access as an important principle of responsible scholarly publishing.
