Eduistiqomah in Language Education (EILE) welcomes researchers, lecturers, teachers, educators, linguists, practitioners, and scholars to submit high-quality manuscripts related to language education and its interdisciplinary fields.
1. Before Submission
Authors should carefully read the journal's Focus and Scope, Author Guidelines, Peer Review Process, and Publication Ethics before submitting a manuscript.
The submitted manuscript must:
- Be relevant to the scope of EILE.
- Be original and academically sound.
- Not have been previously published.
- Not be under consideration by another journal.
- Follow the required manuscript structure and formatting.
- Use appropriate and reliable academic references.
- Comply with research and publication ethics.
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should follow this structure:
Title → Abstract → Keywords → Introduction → Method → Results and Discussion → Conclusion → References
The manuscript should be prepared using:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size: 12 pt
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Text alignment: Justified
- Reference style: APA 7th Edition
- Keywords: Maximum 5
- File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
3. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should contain approximately 180–250 words and be written in one paragraph.
It should briefly describe the research background, objective, method, main findings, and contribution or implications.
Authors should provide a maximum of five keywords that accurately represent the main concepts of the manuscript.
4. Submission Process
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system.
Authors are required to:
- Register or log in to the journal system.
- Start a new submission.
- Select the appropriate manuscript section.
- Upload the manuscript file.
- Enter complete article metadata.
- Add all authors and their affiliations.
- Provide the abstract and keywords.
- Upload supplementary files when required.
- Complete the required declarations.
- Confirm the originality of the manuscript.
- Submit the manuscript for editorial consideration.
5. Peer Review
EILE uses a Double-Blind Peer Review system.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are evaluated by qualified reviewers. Authors should ensure that the submitted manuscript is prepared according to the journal's requirements and that identifying information is handled appropriately for anonymous review.
Possible editorial decisions include:
- Accept Submission
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Resubmit for Review
- Reject
6. Revision
When revisions are requested, authors must respond carefully to all comments from reviewers and editors.
Authors may be required to submit:
- A revised manuscript.
- A response to reviewers.
- An explanation of changes made.
- Additional documents or information requested by the editorial team.
7. Originality and Plagiarism
All manuscripts are subject to plagiarism or similarity screening.
EILE applies a maximum similarity threshold of 20% as a general editorial guideline. The editorial team evaluates the nature and sources of similarities rather than relying solely on the similarity percentage.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all ideas, quotations, data, and materials from other sources are properly acknowledged.
8. Publication Ethics
Authors must comply with the journal's publication ethics requirements, including:
- Originality.
- Proper authorship.
- Accurate reporting of research.
- Appropriate citation.
- Research ethics.
- Informed consent where applicable.
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest.
- Disclosure of funding.
- Responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and other forms of academic misconduct are not permitted.
9. Article Processing Charge
EILE does not charge a submission fee.
An Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 150,000 per accepted article applies after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and has been accepted for publication.

The publication fee does not influence the editorial or peer-review decision.
10. Open Access
EILE is a fully open-access journal. Published articles are freely accessible online without subscription or reader access fees.
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
11. Copyright
Authors retain copyright of their published work while granting EILE the right of first publication.
Authors may share and reuse their published work in accordance with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license and with appropriate acknowledgment of the original publication.
12. Publication Frequency
Eduistiqomah in Language Education (EILE) publishes two issues annually:
- May
- November
13. Current Indexing
EILE is currently indexed and discoverable through:
- Google Scholar
The journal is committed to progressively applying for inclusion in additional reputable national and international indexing and abstracting services as it meets their respective requirements.
14. Author Responsibilities
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:
- The manuscript is original.
- All authors have approved the submission.
- The manuscript is not simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
- All sources are properly cited.
- The research has been conducted ethically.
- The data and findings are presented honestly.
- Any relevant conflict of interest has been disclosed.
- Funding information has been provided where applicable.
- The manuscript complies with EILE's Author Guidelines.
