Digital transformation has increasingly reshaped organizational management in Islamic educational institutions, requiring leaders to integrate technological capabilities with strategic objectives, human resource development, organizational culture, and institutional performance. This study aims to analyze digital leadership practices and their contribution to organizational performance in Islamic educational institutions. A qualitative multisite research design was employed to explore digital vision, strategic planning, digital decision-making, communication, institutional transformation, and performance outcomes. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and institutional documentation involving educational leaders, teachers, and administrative personnel selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusion verification, while credibility was strengthened through source triangulation, technique triangulation, member checking, and prolonged engagement. The findings indicate that digital leadership operates through four interconnected practices: digital vision, digital strategic planning, digital decision-making, and digital communication. Digital leadership facilitates transformation in digital administration, learning systems, institutional information management, and technology-based services, contributing to institutional effectiveness, service quality, productivity, innovation, and stakeholder satisfaction. Digital competence, infrastructure, and supportive organizational culture strengthen transformation, while resistance to change constrains implementation. The study contributes theoretically by positioning digital leadership as a strategic organizational capability connecting digital transformation with organizational performance in Islamic educational contexts. Managerially, institutions require integrated strategies emphasizing digital capacity building, infrastructure development, organizational readiness, and continuous transformation and long-term sustainability.
